maintaining a 100% availability of Web Access. Prior to this upgrade the
environment was experience countless hours of downtime due to a single point
of failure. The upgrade created redundancy and stability within the
environment
·
Developed over 40 detailed implementation plans
for tier 2 personnel to implement configuration changes on production
equipment

Engineer a SIEM solution (Rsyslog) to relay all
syslog traffic to a Linux server that would relay to a central collection
server.
·
As Lab Manager, I established asset management
practices and processes to track all assets from purchase to disposal. I
assisted our configuration manager to ensure we had the proper maintenance
coverage for all of our equipment and I ensured we had 100% accountability of
our assets worth more than a 1 million dollars.
·
I extended the service life of legacy systems
with minimal increased overhead and impact to users by increasing our
in-house support of out-of-warranty Servers. I was able to do this by
improving inventory controls of legacy equipment this ensured that we had
legacy parts on site to quickly restore from a system failure.
·
I developed an implementation plan to modify our
Ironport ESA (Email Security Appliance) to allow our coalition partner to
utilize their legacy marking to communicate with the US via email.
·
As the Assistant Onsite Project Manager, I
mediated countless meetings between the government, and our coalition
partners. This consisted of tracking project status and making
recommendations on the way ahead. I also helped managed and ensure that we
met our deliverables on projects critical to the program such as TS-13, the
programs ATO (Authorization to operate), and the Websense Migration.
·
I prepared and provided technical reports such as
Embedded TII, the in Country TII, and countless other documentation critical
to the program. I also provided Technical reviews of solutions to senior
management.
· I Co-developed root cause analysis reports to get beyond symptoms of
mission critical service interruptions. Identified underlying source of
problems, and recommended solutions that were approved by the government,
successfully implemented, and highly effective in increasing availability.
· Experience Hardening RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) operating system
