·        Designed and implemented a solution to upgrade our classified Data Leakage Protection appliance (Websense) while still maintaining a 100% availability of Web Access. Prior to this upgrade the environment was experience countless hours of downtime due to a single point of failure. The upgrade created redundancy and stability within the environment

·        Developed over 40 detailed implementation plans for tier 2 personnel to implement configuration changes on production equipment

·        Engineer a SIEM solution (Rsyslog) to relay all syslog traffic to a Linux server that would relay to a central collection server.

·        As Lab Manager, I established asset management practices and processes to track all assets from purchase to disposal. I assisted our configuration manager to ensure we had the proper maintenance coverage for all of our equipment and I ensured we had 100% accountability of our assets worth more than a 1 million dollars.

·        I extended the service life of legacy systems with minimal increased overhead and impact to users by increasing our in-house support of out-of-warranty Servers. I was able to do this by improving inventory controls of legacy equipment this ensured that we had legacy parts on site to quickly restore from a system failure.

·        I developed an implementation plan to modify our Ironport ESA (Email Security Appliance) to allow our coalition partner to utilize their legacy marking to communicate with the US via email.

·        As the Assistant Onsite Project Manager, I mediated countless meetings between the government, and our coalition partners. This consisted of tracking project status and making recommendations on the way ahead. I also helped managed and ensure that we met our deliverables on projects critical to the program such as TS-13, the programs ATO (Authorization to operate), and the Websense Migration.

·        I prepared and provided technical reports such as Embedded TII, the in Country TII, and countless other documentation critical to the program. I also provided Technical reviews of solutions to senior management.

·        I Co-developed root cause analysis reports to get beyond symptoms of mission critical service interruptions. Identified underlying source of problems, and recommended solutions that were approved by the government, successfully implemented, and highly effective in increasing availability.
